 Hi, I'm Annalise!

Creative, Content, and Copywriter
Using my MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago, I combine my expert storytelling skills with 3+ years of digital marketing and copywriting experience. I've earned certifications from SEMrush and HubSpot and I am experienced in platforms such as WordPress, CanvaPro, AirTable, and more. The content I love to write focuses on connecting people to information or expert advice that supports them personally or professionally. When I'm not writing, I love wandering botanical gardens and reading with a hot cup of Earl Grey tea.

How to Identify Stretch Opportunities for Your Professional Growth

International Association of Women (IAW)

This article ranks 2nd on Google for the keywords "stretch opportunity." I achieved this through on-page SEO tactics and keyword research. It also connects to the IAW Career Development pillar page which I copy-edited.

Micro vs. Macro: Which Influencer is Right for Your Brand?

ReelPaws

This article is based on previous influencer marketing campaigns ReelPaws worked on for a few of their clients. I back linked to all other ReelPaws influencer-related articles and the influencer campaign pillar page I created. The statistics included in the article come from Statista and Forbes. I also designed the speech bubble graphic in Canva, which follows ReelPaws' brand colors and fonts.

Are You the “Diversity Hire” or Are They Using Diversity Hiring?

Professional Diversity Network (iPDN)

This article engaged both target audiences for PDN, diverse job seekers and HR leaders or recruiters at organizations seeking to improve their diversity recruitment. I pitched, wrote, and published this article on PDN's blog and LinedIn Newsletter which doubled engagement. Additionally, it is a featured snippet for the keyword "diversity hire."
